Upswept hairstyle with plaits

For this hairstyle you need a doll with very long hair.
The minimum lenght should be at your dolls knees.
This style is suitable for centerpart Sindy dolls.

You start with the parting on the front, make two strands of the same size and comb these to the front.
Keep Sindy up side down ,so her hair is hanging straight down except the two strands, these strands can be held in the same hand you have Sindy.
Comb Sindy´s hair thoroughgoing and make a ponytail on top of her head
The two strands at the front of her head are next. Comb them neat and just over her ears to the back of her head, hold them tight and tie them together.
When your finished, Sindy will look like this

You can make one thick plait in her ponytail and at the back of her head you make one smaller plait.

This is the tricky part. Turn the thick plait on top of her head. Don´t do this to stiff, so you can hide the end of the plait inside the turn. To poke all the hairs into this turnen plait, I use a knitting needle. When the plait on top of her head is done, you can turn the little plait below the thick plait. Start the turn at the opposite direction. This little plait has to be poked into the thick turned plait. You might do this a few times over, before the result is fine

To secure this hairdo and to cover up the elastic bands, you can use pins, ribbons, feathers or a veil.
